The Technical - Vocational school 'GIORGI-FERMI' was born in 2013 from the merger of two important and historical high schools in the town of Treviso: the Vocational school for Industry and Crafts 'G. Giorgi' and the Industrial Technical Institute 'E. Fermi '. The new institute so formed is located in three buildings with 66 classrooms and 38 laboratories-training workshops, 3 gymnasiums, 2 libraries, 2 auditoriums, 2 bars and a cafeteria; it is attended by 1583 students aged 14-19. Girls are only 10%. The first two years are compulsory.

  • The Industrial Technical Institute includes 5 Year courses in: Mechanics and Mechatronics, Energy, Chemistry, Materials and Biotechnologies; in 2017-18 will be activated Woodworking Technology. (EQF level 4)

  • The Vocational school ‘Giorgi’ includes 5 year courses in: Services for the Maintenance and Technical Assistance, Plant Maintenance and Industrial Technical Services, Maintenance of Vehicles and Dental Technician. (EQF level 4)

  • The Vocational Education and Training school includes 3 year courses in: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Heating and Plumbing Operators and Mechanics for Motor Vehicles. (EQF level 3)

  • There are also evening vocational courses for adults and 2, 3 or 4 week Internships during the school year and in summer.

  • ​

  • The school hosts also a 2 year Higher Technical Institute in Mechatronics (EQF level 5).
